The Churches in Kilmarnock formed the Fellowship in 1990 gathering its membership from most Christian Congregations in the town and surrounding area.
The Fellowship of Kilmamock Churches will host an event, the Way Ahead, on Sunday 30th September. It is aimed at young people from all churches and for their friends who may have no church connection.
Way Ahead will be in two parts:
4pm to 5.30pm at Kay Park Church hall - Fun, food and hearing what young people think about churches and how they can shape them.
6pm to 7.00pm - Evening celebration service at Salvation Army. This part is for people of all ages, but with a large input from young people.
ACTS ( Action of Churches together in Scotland)
Following a review carried out in late 2017, a Transition Group is developing its thinking about what ACTS should do and what it should look like in order to enable the churches in Scotland to engage together in the mission of God in our nation and beyond in the coming years.
The Group greatly values the prayers of the whole people of God as it carries out this work. Over the next thirteen weeks points for prayer, which you might wish to use individually, in a group, or as a congregation, will be made available.
